Scope and solutions
Power supply for the TBM “Karpatka” boring the twin-bore tunnel at Babica on the S19 expressway Rzeszów Południe–Babica — one of the largest tunnelling projects in Poland. The machine's very high power demand required the design of a temporary construction-site power system: service connection and MV/LV transformer substations, switchgear and cable routes to the tunnel portal. Designed for the general contractor Mostostal Warszawa, in cooperation with WLC Inżynierowie.
